Dr. Nova Grande
It was a day I'll never forget.
A Saturday morning when I was 16 years old, and I could not get out of bed. My back was completely locked up. I just kept thinking, "This isn't supposed to happen to me - I'm young!"
My mother called the local chiropractor, because they are supposed to be the "back" doctors. The doctor put the x-ray up of my spine next to a poster of a normal spine; and my spine was completely different than the "normal spine". It was so curved, it looked like a squiggly spine. I was diagnosed with scoliosis.
The chiropractor gave me a care plan to address my scoliosis and as I progressed through my healing process, something crazy started to happen... I became healthier! I began to notice that when the other kids at school were getting the "bug" that was going around, I didn't get it. I noticed that I could breathe better, and as a tennis player, I noticed that I recovered from the aches and pains from matches and other strenuous activities much quicker than before.
Since the days of "back pain" and "scoiliosis" my journey within chiropractic has evolved quite a bit. Now a doctor myself, I can see that chiropractic is so much more than just a natural method of pain relief. Because we work with the nervous system, we actually influence every organ and cell in the body, hence many other ailments besides back pain.
Working with children who are on the Autistic spectrum or are suffering from AD/HD, has become my passion. Using tools from the 300 postgraduate hours from the Carrick Institute in chiropractic neurology; or through working with the Defeat Autism Now Association, watching these children’s lives change for the better is absolutely thrilling!
Enough about me! How can we help you with today’s safe and natural chiropractic care? Give us a call so we can help you take your first step towards better health.

Dr. Jeremy Jaques

Raised in Chesterfield, Michigan near Lake St. Clair, I have had the benefit of being under chiropractic care since I was just a few days old. Growing up under chiropractic care, I personally experienced the optimal health benefits of getting adjusted regularly. Throughout my childhood I noticed that I rarely had to miss school due to illness and when I was ill I recovered quickly. I attribute this to regular chiropractic care keeping my body functioning the way it was designed to work. Recognizing the benefit of chiropractic care in myself and my family inspired me to become a chiropractor.
I had the pleasure of attending Life University in Marietta, Georgia where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nutrition and then a Doctorate in Chiropractic. During my chiropractic education I also received over 250 hours of graduate training in functional chiropractic neurology from the Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies. I see the body as a whole being controlled and regulated by the nervous system. It is my goal to help people get their nervous system, and body, functioning maximally so that they can achieve their health goals.
I look forward to meeting you so that we can talk about your health goals and how chiropractic care can help you achieve them on your path to a healthier life.
